WHO ARE WE?

AgroecoFarmers Network (AgroEcoFarmNet) is a youth-led non-profit organization pioneering a transformative journey in rural and urban agriculture. We partner with smallholder farmers, indigenous people, grassroots organizations, women and youth, value chain actors, researchers, environmentalists, extension officers, funders, private and other stakeholders to build sustainable agri-food systems, resilient healthy environments, and improved livelihoods for people across the African continent.

We address critical issues such as food security, soil health, natural resource (biodiversity) conservation, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and the economic performance of smallholder farms, striving to create a positive impact and foster resilience in African agricultural ecosystems.

Our mission is to empower farmers with knowledge, resources, and innovative solutions, enabling them to adopt agroecological principles and cultivate healthy, resilient ecosystems. Through collaborative efforts, education, knowledge sharing, and community engagement, we aim to create a thriving network of eco-conscious farmers committed to preserving the environment, ensuring food security, and enhancing the livelihoods of local communities by connecting smallholder farmers to agroecological innovations and thriving markets.
