  • 2. Establish Living Labs to Support Research and Innovation: We create dynamic Living Labs as hubs for hands-on learning and real-world experimentation while facilitating and collaborating on research initiatives focused on sustainable farming methods, soil health, biodiversity conservation, sustainable livestock keeping, and climate-resilient crops, driving innovation and adoption of cutting-edge agricultural practices for Africa's future.
  • 3. Facilitate Farmer Networks: Establish and strengthen networks among eco-conscious farmers, encouraging the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
  • 4. Advocate for Sustainable Policies: Advocate for policies at local and national levels that support sustainable agriculture, biodiversity conservation, and eco-friendly farming practices.
  • 5. Promote Access to Resources: Facilitate access to eco-friendly farming resources, including organic seeds, natural fertilizers, and sustainable agricultural tools, ensuring that farmers have the necessary resources to implement agroecological techniques.
  • 6. Empower Women and Youth in Agriculture: Focus on empowering women and young farmers by providing training, resources, and opportunities, promoting gender equality and recognizing the vital role women and youth play in sustainable agriculture.
  • 7. Enhance Food Security and Climate Adaptation: Work towards enhancing food security by promoting diverse, climate-resilient crops, supporting local food systems, and ensuring that agroecological practices contribute to food availability and accessibility for communities, aiming collectively to improve the livelihoods of smallholder farmers by increasing their productivity and incomes.
  • 8. Environmental conservation: Protect the environment by reducing the use of pesticides and fertilizers, and by promoting sustainable land management practices.

  • 9. To represent the voice of communities in decision-making forums, such as the local councils or in central institutions such as ministries.
